BILLABLE EXPENSES
These are the charges that will appear on the Bentley student account.  Bentley approved study abroad programs follow the Bentley home school tuition policy.                  

Bentley bills $175 for international insurance. Your insurance will be provided by your provider.

NON BILLABLE EXPENSES
Students pay “non-billable” expenses independently.  These expenses are not billed by Bentley.  The non-billable expenses included here are ESTIMATES.  Many of these expenses will vary based on personal preferences and local factors. Consult materials provided by the host university or program, and speak with peer advisors for more details.

HOUSING
Bentley does not bill housing fees for this program.  Students select housing independently and are responsible for making housing payments directly to the housing provider. Cost will vary depending on the type of housing selected.  Students will be billed by IES in July for the fall semester and November for the spring semester.  

Students who choose to live in a homestay will have two meals a day included in the cost. 

Additional Program Costs Billed by Bentley includes international health insurance. 

VISA COSTS
Students must obtain a student visa to study in Italy.  The consulate fees are estimated $60.  Once in Italy students will need to obtain a permit of stay, which is approximately $200.  IES offers a service to process the visa application, which costs $125. 

PERSONAL EXPENSES
The total amount varies depending on the student's spending habits and needs. Personal expenses may include optional tours, excursions, and/or entertainment activities, personal purchases, utilities/internet, cell phone/SIM Card, etc.
