BILLABLE EXPENSES
These are the charges that will appear on the Bentley student account. Bentley approved study abroad programs follow the Bentley home school tuition policy.
NON BILLABLE EXPENSES
Students pay “non-billable” expenses independently. These expenses are not billed by Bentley. The non-billable expenses included here are ESTIMATES. Many of these expenses will vary based on personal preferences and local factors. Consult materials provided by the host university or program, and speak with peer advisors for more details. Many art courses will require the purchase of materials (paints, canvases, clay) for personal use.
HOUSING
Bentley does not bill housing fees for this program. Students select housing independently and are responsible for making housing payments directly to the housing provider. The total cost of housing includes the $300 security deposit that will be reimbursed at the end of the semester should there be no damages.
Students will be expected to make an early housing deposit of $800 to reserve their accommodations the semester before their program begins. This payment is typically due in April for the fall semester and October for the spring semester. This payment must be made in the form of a wire transfer.
*Student Visa: Students are required to obtain a student visa that will cost $60. They will also need to pay for their Permit of Stay upon arrival in Italy, which costs approx. $200.
PERSONAL EXPENSES
The total amount varies depending on the student's spending habits and needs. Personal expenses may include optional tours, excursions, and/or entertainment activities, personal purchases, utilities/internet, cell phone/SIM Card, etc.
