How long have you worked at Bentley?
Since October 2010.

Tell us about why you chose a career in International Education at Bentley.
I have always been passionate about traveling and learning about other cultures. After both studying and working abroad, I truly understand how these experiences have bettered my education and life. I am eager and excited to share my passion about the international experience by supporting those who want to have the same amazing impact on their life!

Where have you lived/traveled/worked/studied abroad?
After traveling with my family to Greece, my first experience with a program was in high school studying for the summer in Spain. In college I returned to Spain to study for the semester in Sevilla, as well as work for the following summer in Greece. After graduation I returned to the city I love, Sevilla, and worked as a Language and Culture Assistant for a Spanish high school. I have also spent extensive time traveling through the rest of Europe and Morocco.

Advice for students studying abroad:
As scary as it may be, don't hesitate to hang out with the locals and test out your foreign language skills! Although you may meet some awesome Americans in your location, the natives will love to learn about you and your culture! They also really appreciate when you are making an effort to speak their language…It really sets you apart!
