How long have you worked at Bentley?
Since August 2011.
Tell us about why you chose a career in International Education at Bentley.
My own undergraduate study abroad experience is what sparked my passion for international education. Knowing how life changing the experience was for me, I am excited to help guide Bentley students in their own international endeavors.
Where have you lived/traveled/worked/studied abroad?
My first international experience was a trip to Ireland with a high school class. I later ventured to Sevilla, Spain for a semester during college, and after college I lived and worked in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 9 months coordinating community service trips for American students. I have also spent time traveling throughout Western and Central Europe, South America, and southern Africa.
Advice for students studying abroad:
Step outside of your comfort zone on a regular basis. Make an effort to put yourself out there, try new things, and seek out experiences that you could not have at home. Studying abroad is often a once in a lifetime opportunity, so be sure to take full advantage of all that is at your fingertips!
